Agribusiness giant Robina Agri Partners joined the first International Agri-Tourism Expo at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last June 30 to July 2.

The expo is the first of its kind in the country, and aims to make the Philippines the Agri-Tourism capital of Asia. With the theme “Empowering the Economy through Agriculture and Tourism Growth,” the expo featured some of the major players in the agriculture and tourism industries, including Robina Agri Partners as well as agriculture-, nature- and environment-themed establishments, and farm produce and technologies suppliers.

Also in the expo were plantations, mariculture parks, farm villages, and specialty farms and resorts, which the organizers hope would become the country’s new tourist destinations.
